The suburb of Kealba lies 16km northwest of Melbourne’s CBD. Its name actually derives from its two closest neighbours, Keilor and St Albans. Much of the suburb is occupied by the large open space of Brimbank Park, whilst the rest of the area is residential. Keilor Downs shopping centre is in close proximity, as are Essendon and Melbourne Airports. To the north is Tullamarine Country Club and there are a number of other recreational areas around the suburb. Kealba is a small suburb, with a population of just over 3000 people.
