Dealership Melbourne

There are some sporting events around the world that everybody is interested in. The Superbowl and FA Cup Final draw huge audiences for American Football and Soccer. The Olympics, being held in London later this year, is always a huge draw. The Ashes is the biggest attraction in cricket. In tennis, there are four tournaments that every player wants to win, and every fan wants to watch. The US Open, the French Open, Wimbledon, and one that’s right on our doorstep, the Australian Open.
It’s a major global sporting event and one that even non-tennis fans get drawn into watching. There’s something compelling about watching some of the finest athletes and sports men and women in the world, competing at their best. The other thing you might notice during the Australian Open is that the tennis courts around the city are a little busier than usual. Here in Oz, we love our sports more than most, but as soon as tennis fever hits, you’ll be lucky to find a free court anywhere.
That’s when a bit of planning comes in handy. Get out your map and locate the most likely candidates for being free. Get up early and be the first one there. That might work. But don’t underestimate the excitement and dedication of tennis fans in Melbourne. If you’re prepared to get up at the crack of dawn, then others will be too. You could try booking a court but by now you’ll probably only get one for sometime in 2013.
It might be worth taking a little drive out of the city and trying to find a court in a more secluded area. Throw your gear in the back of the Jeep or Dodge and hit the road. And even if you don’t find one free, it’s still a nice way to spend a couple of hours. If you have a pre-owned Grand Voyager in Melbourne, there’s room to take enough players for a game of doubles, plus an umpire and a couple of ball boys. Seven seats in all should be more than enough.
And if all your attempts fail then you can always bring your favourite tennis DVDs and watch them in the back of the Grand Voyager, on the second- and third-row drop-down screens. It might not quite measure up to having a game yourself but it’s the next best thing.
