Benjamin Franklin once said: ‘Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.’ And he should know better than most. He was saying that if you play it safe all the time and take no risks, you end up becoming a prisoner to your own fear. It’s good to choose freedom. To do things you want to do and not always worry about the potential consequences.

Franklin’s ideology runs deep through the collective conscious of the United States and even permeated into its car manufacturers.
